Objective:

To provide participants with a clear understanding of correct responses during emergency riding situations.

Content:

  • Emergency braking principles and braking dynamics
  • Common mistakes during panic braking and emergency reactions
  • Speed, space, and visibility management for defensive riding
  • Rider positioning and control concepts for safer responses

Learning Outcome:

Participants will gain improved confidence and understanding of appropriate actions during emergency or unexpected riding situations

Method: Instructor briefing, visual explanation, guided discussion

Session 4 – Live Demonstration, Learning Reinforcement & Assessment (Reinforcement and effectiveness measurement)

Objective:

To reinforce learning through visual demonstration and to measure knowledge improvement achieved during the programme.

Content:

  • Live instructor demonstration of correct braking techniques
  • Demonstration of proper body positioning, balance, and control
  • Comparison of correct versus incorrect riding techniques
  • Pre-training and post-training assessment to evaluate learning improvement
  • Open discussion and clarification of real-life riding scenarios

Learning Outcome:

Participants will reinforce key defensive riding concepts and demonstrate improved awareness and understanding of safer riding practices.

Method: Live demonstration, assessment, guided discussion, Q&A session

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the programme, participants will demonstrate improved motorcycle safety awareness, enhanced hazard recognition, better understanding of defensive riding principles, and increased ability to make safer decisions during daily and work-related riding activities.

Course Overview

Course Objectives

  • Strengthen defensive riding knowledge and risk understanding related to motorcycle use
  • Develop safer rider behaviour and decision-making on the road
  • Provide structured practical exposure to improve overall riding confidence and control
